The Club is affiliated to NABD and MAG we actively endorse safe riding and supporting our Charities , The Royal British Legion Riders Branch, Poppy Appeal, NABD, and The Air Ambulance. We say "DO YOUR BIT AND GIVE A SHIT" your donation will make a difference GIVE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN when you can.
The Club was formed in April 2008 when the core members had reached the decision to be more active on the rally scene, and the club we were then with had become too full of politics and pettedness to be happy and comfortable with, sad but true life changes and people think and want different things. A motion was made at the AGM to move on in a different format, 6 members left 33 remained and it was this majority that formed the new Club.
Our former Club were not into getting out and about - most of them were happy enough to sit and just chew the fat - we got fed up of trying to please everyone, and as the saying goes "You can only please one person a day , and today is not your day"
So there was a split and it was long overdue, and not very amicable -- but the relief was good, we re- jigged a few things ...and the original Committee were still as tight as ever and singing from the same hymnsheet so that was a bonus!!!
We all wanted to go places and ride ..there's more to life than living it in a lay- bye!!!!
So there you have it ...........
A new Club with a new badge and new like minded members . ONWARDS AND UPWARDS for The A59ers.
